Empowering Peace, Cultivating Dignity: Together Against Violence
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Hale Santuwaryo is committed to empowering the Filipinx community in Hawaii by providing comprehensive support and culturally sensitive interventions for survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and Domestic Violence (DV). Our mission is to serve as a sanctuary of safety, support, and education, fostering a community where individuals of all genders have the opportunity to live free from violence and fear.
By engaging healthcare professionals and strengthening community alliances, we aim to create enduring healing and change for those affected by these pervasive issues.
Our Initiatives
Healthcare Provider Training
We will offer targeted training for healthcare professionals to enhance their skills in identifying and responding to Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and Domestic Violence (DV).
Support Network
We are building a comprehensive support network that connects healthcare providers and their staff with local IPV/DV resources. This includes a detailed directory of services and a streamlined referral system, ensuring victims receive timely and culturally appropriate assistance.
